God's Calling Street Ministry

Our Mission:

God's Calling Street Ministry is committed to leading at-risk youth, gang members, ex-cons, current inmates, and individuals ensnared in cycles of violence, crime, or despair to a pivotal moment of change. Guided by the Holy Spirit, through the teachings of Jesus Christ, with the boundless love of God the Father, we aim to illuminate the darkest corners by reaching places overlooked or avoided by almost everyone else.

Our Belief:

"Redemption in the Moment" is our foundational belief: that no individual is ever defined by their past, rather each moment presents an opportunity for a new beginning, a different choice, and a journey toward redemption. Through compassion, direction, and then support, we empower all people to seize the chance to be transformed in a moment-the catalyst every new Christian needs to start and live a renewed life.

Our Message:

The message is simple: no one is beyond God's mercy. God's grace is available to all, irrespective of past actions or identity. Our teachings highlight that Jesus Christ's sacrifice was for the redemption of all sins, for all people—past, present, and future—offering a way back to the Father. This belief asserts that redemption is always within reach, accessible at any moment through a single decision.

We draw on specific biblical stories that resonate with our audience's experiences—such as the thief on the cross, Paul's transformation from persecutor to leader, David’s journey from adulterous murderer to redeemed king, Peter's journey from denial to foundational rock of the church, hate-filled zealots turned Jesus’ disciples, and Moses' path from murderer to leadership. These timeless lessons are still relevant today, as they speak directly to those who've lived through criminality, violence, murder, abuse, and despair, reminding each one of us that change is always possible.

Discipleship:

For those who choose to embrace this new path, we offer discipleship and accountability through regular one on one engagements, text, phone & email discipleship, and local ministry services and support. These things are just the beginning of the ways that we can create pathways to guide individuals from darkness into light. Our ultimate aim is to disciple these individuals, so they, in turn, can venture back into the dark places, and bring the next generation from the shadows into the radiance of a redeemed life.
